The objective of the collaboration is to analyze the Delegated Regulation on rules for the production of low-carbon fuels and to prepare a summary sheet of it. This regulation is currently under development and is expected to be approved and published in its final version around June–July 2025.
The result of the collaboration will be a summary sheet containing key information on the most relevant contents of the Delegated Regulation, as well as an annex with provisions from other legislative documents (RED III, ReFuel EU Aviation, Gas Market Directive, etc.) that are most relevant for the use of hydrogen and low-carbon fuels.
Layman's summary: Collaboration aims to analyze the upcoming Delegated Regulation on low-carbon fuel production and create a summary sheet with key points and relevant legislative references, including RED III and ReFuel EU.
